Helnwein，奥地利著名画家。为一般人所知是他为曼森专辑所设计的封面和CD彩页——孩童和枪，似乎怀着恶意和颠覆在向一切冷冷微笑。这一系列的造型，成为了后来美国校园枪机案后曼森遭受指责的直接原因。
　　 我观察Helnwein的艺术创作，发现这样几个特点。首先是他的作品集中于表现孩童。他早期的油画作品大都是一些缠着绷带，带着缝线伤口向你诡异微笑的孩童，咧开撕裂缝合的嘴角，那是小小的孩子渗入骨髓的恐惧和恶意。摄象作品则很多都是儿童的各中头像。其次，他的作品另一部分是自画像，表现淡定透视自身欲望暗流的冰冷潮湿。他在大部分水粉和素描的自画象中都是头缠绷带，带着黑色墨镜，温柔而恐怖。最后，进入90年代后，他的作品集中于媒体合成和摄象上。虽然更能表达都市现代感，但我还是偏爱他早些时候的童话一般柔若无骨缓缓撕开皮肤的优雅从容。
　　 一直都很奇怪为什么Helnwein会选择孩童的伤口，孩童的恶意是他作品从始自终的切入点。作为二战后出生的一代人，Helnwein或许丝毫未受到战后婴儿潮的沾染，成为高唱爱与和平的嬉皮。他选择了另一条道路，通过死亡，战争，童谣般的恶意，单纯幼稚面孔上的可怕撕裂，那些永远静止的凝滞的扭曲的儿童的面孔摄象来表达自身对人性恶的一面和战争的一种反思。 ...

Considerado por muchos como ‘repulsivo’, lo cierto es que incluso ha llegado a captar las figuras de personalidades como Bukowski, Burroughs, Andy Warhol, Lou Reed y Keith Richards, entre otros. ...
