Following graduation from the International Film School Wales in 98, and a three year stint in media intellignce, I went onto establish Omni Productions; a media production and design company based in Bristol, with university comrades Sam Hearn and John Roe. Together we produce a healthy mixture of commercial, creative and charitable projects for a rich and diverse range of clientele.
Since we've worked hard and been lucky enough to win a handful of awards namely The UK Film Council Audience Award and the ITV West Award for Outstanding Talent, as well as the Shell LiveWire Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and the Bristol Best Business of the Year Award.
I work very closely with Sam Hearn on all of our film projects, I tend to write, though its becoming more collaborative as we progress, we co- direct together, as we have done for the last ten years, but between us Sam produces most effectively due to his slightly worrying abilty to multi task like a mother of quints.
Though not specifically on Dog Years, musically we also work closely with friend and creative peer Daniel Berridge, a very talented man who touts his wares under the name of Broadway Project.
ambitions
Like many short film makers, our ultimate aim is to produce features. We are currently working on ideas, though are realistic enough to know that due to the amount of time, energy and commitment to create such a beast, the story, material and circumstances will need to be just right.
In the meantime we will continue to organically develop our film making voices by making shorts, a medium which gives us a huge amount creative satisfaction.

On the short film front, we've finished our most recent effort; Indians,and are waiting with baited breath that it will be excepted into our festivals of choice.
We're currently developing a Dog Years style series for a US distributor, as a result of attending the Aspen Shorts Fest, a 90 second short for the Arts and Business 90 second challenge called 'Promise me this', there's talk of a period drama about slavery in the UK, as well as a comedy about a man who finds himself in a lost and found department. All of which we're very excited about.

Not that you'll probably see any of these people's influences in Dog Years but some of the film makers/people that have inspired me personally are: Stanley Kubrick, Saul Bass , Pablo Ferro, Gottfried Helnwein, Bill Hicks, Alan Bennett, Anthony Minghella, Gus Van Sant, Ang Lee, Peter Weir, Jonathan Glazer, Chris Cunningham, Matt Groening and T.Herman Zweibel.
Favourite films typically difficult, at the moment toss up between Stanley Kubrick's Paths of Glory, Peter Weir's Fearless, and Wes Andersons' Rushmore or anything with The Rock in it.
